S&P Global is hiring for the role of Engineer - Platform Engineering!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Support the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins and Azure DevOps to GitHub, ensuring smooth transitions and optimized workflows.
• Assist in developing and maintaining reusable GitHub workflows for various tech stacks, including web applications, EKS, and Lambda functions.
• Contribute to infrastructure reliability by maintaining build and deployment agents, ensuring high availability and adherence to corporate standards.
• Execute sprintly releases with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Support and resolve incidents related to unplanned releases, maintaining system stability and reliability.
• Apply code fixes to pipelines, workflows, and infrastructure as needed to address issues and improve performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and DevOps tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Basic scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and infrastructure concepts like high availability and automation.
