Semtech is hiring for the role of Engineer II- Application Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Conduct laboratory experiments to benchmark against competitor components and highlight Semtech advantages (20%)
- Sales/Field Application support: Provide product training to field teams and create training collateral/presentations for new product launches. (10%)
- Industry engagement: Attend tradeshows/workshops/conferences and collaborate with reference design partners for joint promotional efforts. (10%)
- Work closely with customers (external) and design/marketing teams (internal) (30%)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 0-3 years of product applications experience in the automotive market
- Strong customer engagement skills, including communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
- Knowledge of Analog / Mixed-signal Circuitry, and ADCs
- Experience working in a lab environment (comfortable working with/automating lab equipment: e.g. oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.)
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and enthusiastic, with a commitment to achieving business objectives
