Engineer I - Verification & Validation Job in Bangalore at Asteria Aerospace

Asteria Aerospace is hiring for the role of Engineer I - Verification & Validation!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform informal and formal testing efforts of embedded electronic hardware including PCBs, communication devices, sensors, actuators, cable assemblies
• Review technical documents, specifications, QAP, design drawings, etc. to validate design quality and identify critical-to-quality (CTQ) parameters.
• Develop and document test standards, test plans, test flow, test procedures, test cases, and test results.
• Inspect electronics to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, safety, and industrial standards.
• Troubleshoot system/component failures, diagnose, and report issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Identify and recommend improvements to improve the technical performance of products.
• Drive continuous improvement of development and testing processes at Asteria in line with international quality management standards.

Requirements:

• BE/B. Tech in Electronics/Electricals/Instrumentation
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in the electronics testing domain, preferably in new product development
• Good knowledge of analog and digital electronics
• Experience in reading design drawings, schematics, technical specifications, and determining CTQ parameters.
• Experience in ESS testing as per IS9000 standards is a plus.
• Experience in developing test cases/procedures and executing/documenting test results for product verification and validation according to industry standards.
• Familiarity with AVR/ARM/PIC Micro Controllers
• Knowledge of interfaces such as USB, I2C, UART, SPI, Ethernet, CAN
• Proficient in using industrial test tools such as DSO, Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Multimeter, Power Analyzers, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with various root cause analysis processes
• Knowledge of RF device testing is a plus.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
