Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for maintaining effective data security strategies and controls to protect sensitive and confidential information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
• Success in this role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas, and a passion for seeing them to fruition.
• Capacity planning based on business demands.
• Diagnosing performance and connectivity related issues.
• Provides proactive support for enterprise storage and backup solutions by ensuring all monitoring, alerting, and security standards are maintained.
• Participates in a rotating on-call for off-hours critical storage and data protection escalations.
• Document and maintain, the backup, replication, and archival policies in alignment with our global commitments.
• Provide daily support for both our storage and data protection environments.

Requirements:

• Experience administrating and monitoring of storage and backup systems.
• Hands-on experience in managing current backup technologies such as Rubrik, Veeam or Cohesity.
• Experience with cloud and tape-based archive technologies, principles, and best practices is a plus.
• Experience with Storage technologies including Pure Storage, NetApp, Dell/EMC VMAX, VNX, Unity, QNAP, Synology and Data Domain.
• Experience with storage-related connectivity protocols and technologies (e.g., SAN, NAS, Block, NFS, SMB)
• The desire to learn and grow as we transition to new technologies.
• The ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work weekends or off-shift hours if needed.
