SKF is hiring for the role of Engineer - Design Automation!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Write well-abstracted, reusable, high-performance code for web applications
• Lead the development and implementation of the solution architecture adhering to conditions including business requirements and IT strategies
• Oversee software architecture, source control workflows, and CI/CD processes and perform code reviews to ensure exceptional code quality
• Be responsible for improving the development experience and the quality of the codebase
• Lead BU’s digital solution architecture for the organization’s digital transformation journey 
• Identify and resolve technical challenges faced by the team
• Partner with businesses to develop digital blueprint of the business
• Conceptualize, architect, design digital solutions & research & evaluate new technologies. 
• Document all solution architecture design and analysis work. 
• Understand how IOT/Big Data/Analytics technology supports business operations to create value
• Work with Product owner and business stakeholders to ensure that the Business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements are mapped, documented, and fit to determine the solution. Also ensure the solution is effective & efficient to solve the business problem. 
• Develop pragmatic, commercial feasible architectures, considering all functional as well as non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, capacity, accessibility, security, usability) 
• Coordinate new development activities, maintain existing set-up, and ensure consistency gets well-integrated to established reference architecture. 
• Estimate the financial impact of architecture solution alternatives. 
• Document, model and disseminate understanding of the domain architectural design and its analysis work
• Engage and oversee the evaluation and selection of architecture best practices and industry standards, advocate the pragmatic relationship between design and documentation of enterprise, domain, or solution throughout lifecycle including deployments and support perspectives

Requirements:

• Engineering degree is must (B.E. ME or CS preferred) 
• Overall, 3-7 year of experience 
• 3+ years of experience in web technologies. We use React, TypeScript, NodeJS, MySQL, VBA & C#
• Fluent in writing high-quality code with relevant test suits.
