Engineer- Charging System and energy Management Job in Bangalore at TATA Motors

Tata Motors is hiring for ENGINEER - CHARGING SYSTEM AND ENERGY MANAGEMENT !

Responsiblities of the job;

• Coordinate charging system development activities- NPI projects.    
         •Timely completion of project activities as per plan 
• Project co-ordination and execution with program CFT.    
• Charging technology benchmarking, component selection, charging system design, charging system testing.    
• Review charging system development with supplier, review DMU.    
• Charging system mechanical and electrical design activities, 3D CAD / 2D drawing review and PLM release.    
• Lead field issues resolution, bench and vehicle level testing and status tracking.    
• Project tracking / status preparation and review.    
• Project documentation RFQ, SOR, TRSO, PDSR, DFMEA, DFA, DFS review and signoff.    
• Review CAD work during DMU finalization.    
• Support vehicle proto / production build, build issue resolution and documentation review.    
• Lead / Support to Indenting and PO formalities.    
• Lead charging system development activity for inhouse projects.    
• Lead / Support localisation, VA/VE, bench test set-up, infrastructure development.    
• Create and update project tracking documents. 

Requirements of the job;

• Expertise in EV aggregate development / charging system and energy management of EVs.
• Hands-on experience of High Voltage charging system development / engineering.
• Knowledge of HV battery system and its charging requirements.
• Awareness of product development process.
• Knowledge of power grid.
• Awareness of Electric Vehicle systems and sub-systems.
• Knowledge of various charging protocols (preferably CCS), different types of charging systems, charging connectors and charging modes.
• Experience with charging data logging, troubleshooting and field issue resolution.
• Hands-on experience of using High Voltage measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of High Voltage Safety systems.
• Knowledge of selection criteria for HV aggregates for charging system, can make / review concept layouts, can prepare / review RFQ, can prepare / review requirement checklist, handle release process, handle field issues.
