ANZ Bank New Zealand is hiring for the role of Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work with traders, sales, analysts, quant, business managers to support the systems
• Work with developers to elicit production issues
• Help other global support team for resolving complex problems in production
• Work with internal teams (pricing/risk/valuation systems) to investigate issues and test the solution

Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of fixed income products such as bonds and swaps pricing as well as yield curve construction
• Hands-on experience with Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), Bonds pricing and Fixed Income electronic trading
• Good quantitative skills necessary for IRS/Bond pricing investigation
• Hands-on experience in front office trading platforms such as ION Trading MarketView, ION Pricing Engine (PXE, XPE), Bloomberg TOMS or Murex
• Experience in platforms like Bloomberg and Refinitiv, trading venues like Yieldbroker, MarketAxess and TradeWeb, and trading systems like ION and Murex
• Experienced with tools such as JIRA, Confluence and project management tools
• Hands-on with Incident, Problem and Capacity management
• A self-starter that enjoys a challenge and working in an agile environment
• Someone who takes pride in their work and will complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision
• Someone who can interface with both technical and business teams including traders and quants
• Who will develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders to ensure that all system issues are resolved in timely manner and solutions implemented with the customer in mind
