Energy Strategies and Transformation Research Analyst Job in Gurgaon at S&P Global

S&P Global is hiring for the role of Energy Strategies and Transformation Research Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Investigate the technological, deployment and commercial aspects of key low-carbon segments (e.g., hydrogen, CCUS, low-carbon mobility); track oil company commitments and activities in each of these domains
• Perform deep-dive analyses into core oil and gas technology segments (e.g., digital and AI, seismic, subsea, enhanced recovery) to produce hydrocarbon resources in a more effective, efficient and low-carbon manner
• Aggregate and organize collected information via databases and dashboards; provide insights into key trends and developments via written reports
• Support the team’s broader research initiatives, client engagements and participation in industry events

Requirements:

• Demonstrably strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, and critical thinking capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Proficiency with MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI)
• Knowledge of the energy and oil and gas sectors is beneficial
• Preferred Education - Petroleum Engineering
• Proactive, highly detail-oriented and inquisitive; especially when faced with information gaps and uncertainties
• Able to summarize and describe complex issues clearly and concisely
• Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Able to collaborate with a network of global colleagues
