Orbit & Skyline is hiring for the role of Embedded Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Working with cross-functional teams for ECN and ECO activities.
• Design and developing Software/firmware; including optimizing designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency
• System integration considers software and hardware aspects.
• Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by management.

Requirements:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Computer Science with a minimum experience of 2-5 years.
• A master’s degree will be preferred.
• Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.
• Experience in designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging system software.
• Must have experience in firmware development for interfacing of peripherals e.g. SPI, I2C, UART, USB, CAN, LIN, Ethernet
• Should have experience in working on RTOS and adequate knowledge of system architecture and I/O interface
• Adequate understanding of programming Microcontrollers, EEPROM, Support software QA, and optimizing I/O performance
• Proven experience in embedded systems design with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
• Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems
• Solid programming experience in embedded C or C++
• Knowledge of programming FPGA and CPLD
• Experience in GUI development
• Good to know VHDL or Verilog
