Unbox Robotics is hiring for the role of Embedded Hardware Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design proof of concepts through circuit simulations and/or rapid prototyping.
• Uphold hardware design standards and methodologies considering power efficient, robust, and reliable hardware solutions.
• Design calculations, analyze, test, and validate embedded electronic circuits.
• Document design specifications and implementation details.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers to develop and test hardware modules.
• Collaborate with harness engineers to design, develop, and test hardware modules.
• Design for Manufacturing by collaborating with the manufacturing team.
• Collaborate for business development and certification activities.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in the selection of microcontrollers/microprocessors.
• Hands-on experience in the integration of microcontrollers/microprocessors with Interfaces such as I2C, CAN, SPI, RS485, and Ethernet is required.
• Hands-on experience in designing analog and digital electronic circuit design.
• Should have a thorough understanding of semiconductor components such as power MOSFETs IGBTS, etc.
• Basic understanding of different types of permanent magnet motors such as BLDC, etc.
• Proficiency in PCB design tools such as ORCAD, Eagle, and Altium.
• Basic understanding of technical and regulatory standards for EMI/EMC.
• Good hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Able to support/debug system integration.
