Embedded Development Engineer Job in Pune at Eaton

Eaton is hiring for the role of Embedded Development Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Engage in the development and testing of smart gateway products using programming languages like Assembly, C & C++, JAVA, and HTML5 on embedded systems running on Linux platforms
• Handle build management, change, and configuration management tools like JIRA/bamboo/TFS/VS/GIT/Stash/Clear Case/Clear Quest/DOORS, etc.
• Suggest and develop reusable components and look for continuous improvement opportunities in industrial control & protection products. Share knowledge within the team and demonstrate flexibility working in parallel on multiple assignments/product categories
• Develop an understanding of both technology and product concepts and can articulate product and software design. Ensures quality of delivery by the plan adhering to the standard practices used in the agile/waterfall model

Requirements:

• Mtech in electronics/ E&TC Engineering or related subject only
• Working knowledge of Linux & RTOS programming
• Experience in embedded programming C, C++
• Experience with device drivers, Kernel programming 
• Sound understanding of Operating Systems, Data Structures, Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, and design patterns
• Knowledge about the communication protocols like SPI, I2C, TCP/IP
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written) to communicate information effectively to customers, and technical staff
