Electronics Process Engineer Job in Chennai at Valeo

Valeo is hiring for the job role of Electronics Process Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensure deployment of global Electronics standards / processes at the technical centre.
• Monitor the adherence of new standards, templates, guidelines and checklists among all the Business Groups.
• Perform project process quality audits every month.
• Work independently to follow up the process enhancements and process definitions.
• Support Business Groups in terms of Quality management dashboard usage and global process deployments.
• Ensure the Core teams are following the Business Group/Product Group standards when it’s mandatory.
• Support Business Groups to do the process quality audits and propose the suggestions.
• Track the DR (Design Review) status of the projects which are applicable to the technical centre.
• Support project/Process related QRQCs and ensure timely closure.
• Support Hardware design related tools.
• Prepare standards, guidelines, templates and checklists for the technical centre.
• Update technical centre Viki portal to aware engineers about new process releases.
• Support QMS for process during system certifications (ISO / IATF audits).

Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably in a field related to the specific role, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other continuous improvement techniques.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies relevant to the specific role (e.g., PCB assembly, automotive electronics, etc.)
• Strong data analysis skills to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and troubleshoot process issues.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical support, and report findings to management.
