Electrical Technician Job in Chennai at EFS Facilities Services

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Assist in the installation of new electrical systems, components, and machinery. Properly wire and connect electrical components according to technical specifications and safety standards.
• Utilize various testing equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, to diagnose electrical issues, identify faults, and implement effective solutions.
• Assist in designing, modifying, and upgrading electrical circuits and systems as required to improve efficiency and functionality.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards when working with electricity, ensuring that all work is performed in a safe and responsible manner. Report any unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications. Keep detailed logs of equipment performance and issues.
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow, effective communication, and timely completion of projects.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently, troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues to minimize disruptions.
• Calibrate and adjust electrical equipment to maintain accuracy and precision in measurements and operations.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in electrical systems. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
