Electrical Engineer Job in Bangalore at Dar Al-Handasah

Dar is hiring for the role of Electrical Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design prestige projects and will coordinate/work closely with Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize the project design and resolve design technical issues.
• Design various types of facilities including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, office buildings, and similar facilities, in addition to infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop parametric models and computational workflows using scripting languages such as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration.
• Design activities include the preparation of reliable Electrical designs and Tender/Construction Drawings and Documents/Specification for the following system:
  • MV/LV Power supply along with single-line diagrams
  • LV distribution network
  • Earthing systems and Lightning protection
  • Lighting and small power distribution
  • Emergency power supply and associated distribution network

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 1 to 8 years of proven experience as an electrical designer
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building systems
• Knowledge about scripting languages such as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration
• Proven experience in computational design, parametric modeling, and scripting languages is desirable but not Mandatory
• Knowledge of Design Software like AUTOCAD, REVIT, DIALUX, ETAP, etc.
• Creative thinking and a passion for pushing the boundaries of design through computational innovation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
