Buro Happold is hiring for the role of Electrical Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Undertaking detailed electrical engineering building services design and cross-checking the results using hand calculations.
• Ensuring preparation of technical specifications and schedules.
• Ensuring preparation and contribution to design development reports.
• Planning and managing input production of design work with a keen willingness to engage and participate within the group’s strategy for BIM development as our tool of choice for all design-related issues.
• Adding value to a project by thinking beyond your core discipline.
• Mentoring and assisting graduate engineers.

Requirements:

• A broad design knowledge – from Concept to Tender design - through working on a wide range of projects using Indian and International codes
• Experience in an Electrical Engineer role on projects
• Domain expertise in codes and standards in your field
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A willingness to quickly learn to use new analysis packages as required
• Digital engineering experience (e.g. coding) would be advantageous but would not be a deal breaker
• A Bachelor’s degree BEng/BSc or Master’s degree MEng/MSc in a relevant discipline
• Experience in Revit would be very desirable
• Ambition and eagerness to contribute within an established team
