Hero MotoCorp Limited is hiring for the role of Electrical/Electronics Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and developed traction battery pack Electrical components based on the vehicle specification requirement
• Component Benchmarking & prepare Roadmap, Supplier handling
• Functional Safety ISO-26262 and Support FOR battery Validation
• Gateway system, Manage the battery development and activities

Requirements:

• Wide experience and knowledge in lithium-ion battery pack Electrical system design
• Basic knowledge of battery pack subsystems, knowledge in battery cells, pack testing, and data analysis
• Experience in regulations and standards (ISO-26262, AIS-156, AIS-004, AIS-038, ECE R100, UN38.3 etc.) for battery packs
• Good understanding of Batteries, EMI-EMC
• Understanding of advanced modeling techniques, Model-Based Design, experience with MATLAB Simulink
• Knowledge & working experience in solving a complex problem
• Knowledge of Li-ion cell chemistry, form factor, bus-bar, and welding technologies
• Experience in assembly methodologies and design for robustness
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of proto-development techniques
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of PLM is an added advantage Knowledge in DFMEA, PFMEA, DFSS, DFA, SPC, APQP Innovative thinking, and capability to leverage technologies
• Knowledge of the complete cycle of the battery pack, BMS development
• Awareness of the thermal and structural behavior of battery pack
• Knowledge of different theories and concepts like SOC estimation, and temperature de-rating strategies
• Good understanding of charging protocol (GB/T, CCS2) and CAN communication
• Good knowledge of all the EV aggregates and their integration constraint
• Knowledge of strategies for cell balancing especially passive balancing
