Electrical & Electronics Associate Engineer Vlll Job in Thane at Vertiv

Vertiv is hiring for the role of Electrical & Electronics Associate Engineer Vlll!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Focus on the designing of the accessories to be used with UPS and the Engineering Design testing and validation of concepts developed - UPS applications
• Work in cooperation with other design engineers and cross-functional teams
• Design of electrical systems including component selection, wiring, layout, and testing Conduct design review with cross-functional teams
• Visit the manufacturing plant for prototype development and support all design-related activities from product requests to prototype development
• Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of drawings and other document 

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Electrical Panel wiring and associated software
• Good Knowledge of Electrical systems design like panels
• Knowledge of power electronic converters and semiconductor switches
• Knowledge of MATLAB Simulation software
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy to deliver manufacturing drawings and other documents
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2- 3 years of relevant work experience DESIRABLE
• Preferred:
  • Knowledge of failure analysis of the field returned components
  • Hands-on Experience in designing the panel as per IEC standards
  • Exposure to electrical switchgear like MCB, MCCB, Fuse, etc, and their selection criteria
  • Knowledge of busbar design considerations
  • Ability to work independently with least supervision
