Electrical CAD Engineer Job in Bangalore at Inphase Power Technologies

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Development:

• Create electrical designs for equipment, components, products, and systems.
• Design electrical control panels, breaker panels, and inverter panels.
• Utilize AutoCAD for the creation, editing, and refinement of electrical, structural, and control drawings.

2. Drawing Review and Compliance:

• Review drawings to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
• Direct engineering design efforts to comply with customer requirements.

3. Collaboration and Support:

• Assist Engineers with the development of parts lists, plans, and specifications.
• Provide backup support for other team members.

4. Communication:

• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Initiate follow-up to update documentation when changes occur.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Produce high-quality supporting documentation.
• Maintain databases and generate real-time and accurate reports measuring goal accomplishments.

6. Filing and Organization:

• Classify and file engineering drawings for easy retrieval and reference.

7. Team Collaboration:

Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with the team.

Uphold good public relations within and outside the organization.

8. Professionalism and Ethics:

• Demonstrate a high level of integrity, discipline, and a strong work ethic.
• Ensure compliance with company ethical standards, policies, procedures, guidelines, and manufacturing standards.

9. Design Quality and Compliance:

• Generate high-quality designs ensuring compliance with client specifications, engineering standards, relevant legislation, and company procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Key Competencies:

• Proven experience in electrical design and AutoCAD proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of control panel, breaker panel, and inverter panel design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well within a team.
