Electrical Automation Head Job in HATHRAS at Ace International LLP

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an automation roadmap aligned with the organization’s production goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance process reliability through automation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in electrical automation.
• Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, and sensors.
• Ensure the electrical and control systems are compliant with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Supervise the integration of automation solutions with existing manufacturing equipment.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electrical engineers, automation specialists, and technicians.
• Conduct training sessions for the team to ensure they are proficient in operating and maintaining automation systems.
• Assign tasks and ensure team alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in electrical and automation systems to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all automation systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams to address recurring problems.
• Plan and execute automation and electrical projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance) to ensure successful project execution.
• Work with external vendors and contractors for system upgrades or new installations.
• Prepare technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, P&ID, system architectures, and manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, system changes, and upgrades.
• Present regular reports to management on system performance, challenges, and improvement plans.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.).
• Expertise in SCADA systems, HMI design, VFDs, and control systems.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and wiring standards.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, IoT, and predictive maintenance technologies is a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
