Kroll is hiring for the role of Editor, Compliance Risk and Diligence!

Responsibility of the Candidate:

• Create and maintain copy quality that aligns with company standards and meets deadlines.
• Review and edit a high volume of due diligence reports, ensuring correct grammar, spelling, and clarity, as well as proper sentence, paragraph, and document structure.
• Apply knowledge of elementary rules of usage, principles of composition, and commonly misused words and expressions.
• Provide constructive criticism and feedback to improve content quality.
• Exhibit a passion for assisting others in generating compelling, clear, and direct prose.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Professional Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of editing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Experience in newspaper or magazine editing is preferred.
• Exceptional skills in grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and vocabulary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with standard style guides.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and be responsive to staff.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexibility for extended hours when needed.
