ECC Support Engineer Job in Bangalore at Millennium Management

Millennium Management is hiring for the role of ECC Support Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Continuously monitor the health and performance of production systems, proactively identifying and escalating issues to minimize downtime.
• Respond to infrastructure incidents and outages, troubleshoot problems, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure rapid resolution and minimal disruption to trading and investment activities.
• Fulfill service requests and operational tasks across a range of platforms, including networks, Linux and Windows servers, storage, databases, and monitoring tools.  Manage Hardware break-fix.
• Maintain detailed runbooks, incident records, and knowledge base articles to ensure consistent and effective incident management and operational processes.
• Work closely with engineering, production assurance, and other technology teams to share information, escalate issues, and drive improvements in system stability and performance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and workflows, contributing ideas to improve efficiency, automation, and service quality.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, Linux and Windows operating systems, and monitoring tools. Experience in a production support or operations role is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
• Thorough, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards in incident response, operational processes, and communication. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a global team.  Operate as an owner of the infrastructure and assure resolution of issues to the end.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document incidents and procedures accurately.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
