Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Implement solutions that enhance website performance, usability, and overall customer experience.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to stay ahead in the competitive e-commerce landscape.
• Oversee the design and maintenance of a robust e-commerce infrastructure.
• Work with DevOps to assess infrastructure needs and design robust, scalable solutions.
• Manage cloud-based services, ensuring seamless integration with our e-commerce systems.
• Implement and optimize cloud resources to meet performance and cost objectives.
• Implement and enforce information security best practices to safeguard customer data and transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Leverage your experience with Magento to optimize the e-commerce platform for scalability and efficiency.
• Work with development teams to efficiently execute new features and enhancement of features using ReactJS.
• Stay current with Magento and ReactJS updates and best practices.
• Work closely with UX and marketing teams to identify opportunities for improving sales conversions.
• Implement A/B testing and data-driven strategies to optimize the online shopping journey.
• Introduce new features and functionalities that resonate with customers and drive increased sales.
• Utilise expertise in the eyewear category to tailor the online shopping experience for our customers.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to showcase eyewear products effectively on the platform and address business pain points related to the category.
• Stay informed about industry trends and customer preferences in the eyewear sector.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in e-commerce technology leadership roles.
• Expertise in Magento and hands-on experience with ReactJS.
• Strong background in infrastructure management and information security.
• Track record of implementing technology solutions that enhance website performance and increase sales conversions.
• Knowledge of the eyewear category is a significant advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
