Valeo is hiring for the role of DY. Manager - Manager HR / ER!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Implement and execute HR and Employee Relations (ER) strategies in line with organizational goals.
  • Oversee employee relations programs and initiatives to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Handle labor relations, disputes, and grievances, providing resolution and maintaining a fair and respectful workplace.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives and ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on HR policies, compliance, and workplace behavior.
  • Manage performance appraisal processes, employee engagement programs, and other HR-related activities.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of HR practices and policies across all levels of the organization.
  • Investigate and address workplace complaints, conflicts, and disciplinary issues.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR matters.
  • Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations, recommending adjustments to HR policies and practices accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field; advanced degree or legal qualification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in Employee Relations or Labor Relations.
  • In-depth understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR policies.
  • Experience in designing and delivering employee communication and consultation strategies.
  • Familiarity with labor relations processes, tribunal disputes, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ability to work closely with ER teams and provide legal guidance when necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of social administration and the processing of social files.
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks related to social files, including letters and memos.
  • Knowledge of HR Policies and Procedures and their practical application.
  • Excellent coaching and training skills for managers and HR teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to align HR and management on Employee Relations strategies.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and auditing skills.
  • Adherence to internal rules, legal obligations, and communication protocols related to employment litigations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities within the organization.
