Data Economy is hiring for the role of Drools Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and develop rule-based systems and decision engines using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business rules into technical specifications.
• Implement and configure rule-based systems to automate decision-making processes across various business domains.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the accuracy and reliability of rule-based systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for rule engine-related issues.
• Document design specifications, configurations, and technical processes.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in rule engine development and apply them to enhance existing systems.

Requirements:

• BTech/MTech/MCA Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in developing rule-based systems and decision engines.
• Proficiency in rule engine technologies such as Drools, Jess, or IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
• Strong understanding of rule-based programming paradigms and business rule management systems (BRMS).
• Experience with Java/J2EE development and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
