Cummins is hiring for the role of Drafting & Release Junior Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Create and maintain product specifications using GD&T
• Utilize CAD tools to ensure the quality and security of models and drawings
• Adhere to company, industry, national, and international standards
• Process internal engineering work requests
• Engage with required functional areas as needed
• Participate in maintaining standards and practices to ensure quality
• Conduct and participate in Drawing Quality Reviews

Requirements:

• Diploma Mechanical or BE Mechanical
• Regionally applicable Certification (e.g., US Department of Labor) or two-year associate degree from an accredited college program in a relevant field of study
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
• Requires some work experience and intermediate-level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience
• Proficiency in CREO (latest version 2D & 3D), PLM (Windchill), and Product Change Management
• Hands-on experience with GD&T and a solid understanding of engineering terms
• Strong interaction skills and the ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams
• Good learning ability and an understanding of various product features and their interrelationships
• Knowledge of engines and their components' functionality
