Wipro Technologies is hiring for the role of Domain Consultant!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Assumes responsibilities as the main client contact leading engagement w/ 10-20% support from Consulting and client Partners.
- Develops, assesses, and validates a client’s business strategy, including industry and competitive positioning and strategic direction
- Develops solutions and services to suit client’s businessstrategy
- Estimates scope and liability for delivery of the end product/solution
- Seeks opportunities to develop revenue in existing and new areas
- Leads an engagement and oversees others’ contributions at the customer end, such that customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Drives Proposal creation and presales activities for the engagement; new accounts
- Contributes towards the development of practice policies, procedures, frameworks, etc.
- Guides less experienced team members in delivering solutions.
- Leads efforts towards building go-to-market/off-the-shelf/point solutions and process methodologies for reuse
- Creates reusable IP from managed projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a domain consulting role, preferably within the IT industry.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in a specific domain or industry segment.
- Strong understanding of business processes and challenges within the designated domain.
- Ability to analyze client requirements and provide tailored solutions that align with industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and convey solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering domain-specific consulting services, including assessments, strategy development, and implementation support.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about business issues.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and trends impacting the specified domain.
- Willingness to stay updated on industry developments and continuously enhance domain knowledge.
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Certification or specialized training in a specific domain is a plus.
