Distribution Resource Planner Job in Hyderabad at Eastman

Eastman is hiring for the role of Distribution Resource Planner!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Administrating inventory movements, managing inventory levels, and replenishment orders.
• Handling aged and blocked inventories, as well as relabeling.
• Conducting monthly reconciliations of inventory levels stored at 3rd party warehouses and consignment.
• Monitoring the 6-month rolling supply plan for assigned imported products.
• Aligning with the regional planner to ensure optimal demand and supply balance.
• Executing key analytics in line with supply processes, including coordination on drumming schedules and vessel arrangements.
• Initiating improvement opportunities in processes, tools, and knowledge.
• Supporting the implementation of improvements, including optimization of shipment modes, loads, and packaging based on costs and inventory.
• Assuming responsibility for effective and timely analysis and reporting.
• Analyzing demand data and measuring forecast accuracy.
• Supporting evaluation and maintenance of Safety Stock and Target Inventory numbers for the region.
• Ensuring full compliance with Corporate Standard Operating Procedures and all Sarbanes Oxley required processes.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related business fields is required.
• APICS CPIM or comparable certification is a strong preference; demonstrated experience with planning and inventories.
• Minimum of 1 year of planning or supply chain experience in an international environment.
• Good analytical skills.
• Proficient in advanced Excel.
• Fluent in English is required, both verbal and written. Additional languages are a plus.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication and listening skills.
• Must work well under pressure, with time demands, and have the ability to multi-task in a dynamic business environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
