Black Rock is hiring for the role of Director, Corporate Compliance

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Lead the APAC team performing BAU Core Compliance activities, including Personal Trading, Outside Business Activities, Gifts, and Entertainment.
• Subject matter expertise on Core Compliance policies and underlying regulatory requirements, including maintaining up-to-date date knowledge of changes in key regulatory requirements, regulatory focus, and risk themes impacting the above-mentioned processes. This also includes the identification and analysis of key regulatory risks identified as part of the BAU processes.
• Develop and deliver training related to the above subjects as well as actively engage with relevant stakeholders across Compliance and Business teams to drive effective partnership and collaboration.
• Partner with the global core compliance team to support and/or lead (as applicable) ongoing evolution of the Core Compliance program, including but not limited to, process and control re-underwritiand ng, technology enhancemenGuidee to BlackRock employees regarding the above subject matters.
• Facilitate business analysis and requirements capture, solution design, and develop third-party arty software due diligence and implementation, testing protocols, issue remediation, root cause analysis, and other responsibilities associated with creating or enhancing business processes.
• Manage Core Compliance transformational efforts and activities providing SME content to the business and L&C stakeholders.
• Support and implement employee activity/related compliance policies to assure compliance with key underlying regulatory and policy requirements.
• Seek opportunities within Core Compliance frameworks to bolster controls and assure transparency and enhanced issue identification through telemetrics/reporting measures.

Requirements of the Candidate:

• Strong general risk management and/or Compliance experience beneficial 
• Strong operational, analysis, and/or project management experience beneficial 
• Experience and understanding of personal conflict exist within the asset management / financial industry
• Knowledge, understanding, and awareness of the f current regulatory landscape 
• Strong attention to detail, data analysis, and problem-solving capabilities
• Proactive and self-motivated with a “can do” attitude and an ability to use my initiative
• Student of technology that stays abreast of new and emerging tools that have the potential to positively transform processes
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize across multiple projects and assignments; must be able to deliver and meet timelines in a fast-paced global project environment
