Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Distill the essence of manuscripts across varied disciplines and craft engaging plain language summaries, research stories, and blog articles, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the scientific narrative.
  
• Distill the essence of manuscripts or policy documents across varied disciplines and craft engaging plain language summaries, research stories, blog articles, infographics, and video scripts, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of scientific narratives.
• Engage in the creation, review, and proofreading of diverse content formats, including brand infographics, explainer videos, and social media campaigns, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and creativity.
• Leverage scientific acumen to interact with prominent personalities and start-ups, curating insightful questions and creating compelling content based on the interactions.
• Utilize a profound understanding of social media nuances across platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, to craft, review, and optimize social media content and campaign concepts.
• Undertake the sanity check and meticulous proofreading of formal long-format reports, ensuring coherence, accuracy, and adherence to formatting standards.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in allied roles in digital or science communication agencies.
• Master’s degree in science is preferred or an equivalent in Mass communication is also suitable.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Profound ability to comprehend and translate manuscripts across a spectrum of scientific disciplines.
• Mastery in social media best practices, coupled with the ability to craft engaging and platform-optimized content.
• Aptitude for coordinating across diverse operational verticals, ensuring project excellence and timely delivery.
