L&T is hiring for the role of Digital Cell Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with production, supply chain, quality, planning etc. cross functional teams to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams
• IT project management with waterfall / agile methodologies.
• Understanding of SDL
• Deal with software vendors and getting system developed.
• Support the implementation and integration of enterprise systems like SAP, ERP-LN, or other legacy system
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs related to production efficiency, downtime, and quality.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with IT and cybersecurity standards.
• Wireframing and prototyping using various tools to get clear UI/UX experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CE/Industrial Engineering/Production or related field
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and systems (e.g., ERP, MES, WMS/Quality systems etc.)
• Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, DevOps etc.
• Good at analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and managing multiple tasks / projects
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise systems
• Experience with Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies (IoT, predictive maintenance, digital twins/RPA/AI-ML etc.)
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT security
• Required Experience: 2 - 5 years
