DevOps Release Engineer Job in Pune at Stantec

Stantec is hiring for the role of DevOps Release Engineer!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using various tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders to coordinate software releases.
• Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC), utilizing tools like Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM, and Ansible.
• Architect, design, and build highly available systems with load balancing and horizontal scalability using Azure services.
• Implement enterprise-level security services, governance protocols, and automation for Identity Access Management (IAM) policies.
• Deploy and support critical applications using cloud-native microservices architecture, including Data Factory, Data Lake, and Machine Learning services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software releases and deployments.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of software systems.
• Document and enforce best practices for software release management.

Requirements:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in DevOps methodologies and tools.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and ability to manage tenant configuration with Microsoft365DSC.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to coordinate with regional counterparts in Canada, the US, the UK, and ANZ.
