Devops Engineer Job in Mumbai at Blockstack

BloomStack is hiring for the role of DevOps Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.
• Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team.
• Release, Change, and Deployment management activities by automating and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline.
• Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements.
• Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch.
• Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently.
• Manage day to day cloud operation tasks and work on tickets assigned.
• Work effectively in a globally distributed team structure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields or relevant DevOps Experience.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix System Administration.
• Solid programming skills and experience with or an ability to quickly become proficient in Python, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Source Code Management tools (Git) and an understanding of branching and integration processes.
• Experience working with AWS and other cloud providers.
• Experience working with automation/configuration management tools like Ansible and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of container systems such as Kubernetes & Docker.
• Admin experience with continuous integration tools like Travis CI.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven and able to start quickly with a mindset to deliver results.
• Excellent creative, analytical, and conceptual thinking abilities.
