Eka Care is hiring for the role of DevOps Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other relevant platforms.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management in cloud environments, particularly AWS and GCP, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for scalable application deployments.
• Configure and manage monitoring and observability tools like NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana to ensure system health and performance.
• Perform API load testing using tools such as JMeter and Postman to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Manage IAM permissions, ensuring robust security configurations for cloud resources.
• Oversee cloud networking, including DNS, VPN configurations, and other networking tasks.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services, working closely on API interactions, including with Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Bedrock.
• Provide support for database technologies including both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Work with data streaming tools and platforms like Kafka, Superset, or BigQuery to support data-driven applications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems and scripting languages like Bash and Python.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
• Familiarity with API load testing tools like JMeter and Postman.
• Understanding of cloud networking principles, DNS, VPN, and related security aspects.
• Experience with IAM configurations and security best practices.
• Familiarity with database systems (both relational and NoSQL) and data-related tools (Kafka, BigQuery, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience working with APIs for LLM models is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Superset, Kafka, and BigQuery for data management is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• 6 months - 2 years of experience.
