Vance is hiring for the role of DevOps Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
• Automate deployment processes and improve development workflows through continuous integration and delivery.
• Implement observability practices to monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
• Work with development teams to design and optimize cloud-native applications and services.
• Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes for fault tolerance and resilience.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using tools like Terraform and Docker to streamline processes.
• Uphold security and compliance best practices across the infrastructure.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshoot production issues, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing infrastructure and processes for better performance and cost-efficiency.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of work experience in a DevOps role or similar.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, including services like ECS, Lambda, and RDS.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
• Proficient in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Understanding of system monitoring and logging tools with experience in setting up alerts and dashboards.
