Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Execute and drive hands-on design and implementation of best practices in DevOps, focusing on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) across the enterprise.
• Champion a CI/CD mindset and facilitate a cultural transformation towards DevOps.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to promote the adoption of CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes, and tools.
• Shape, design, develop, support, and implement software delivery in alignment with the roadmap.
• Maintain awareness of best practice initiatives within your specialty area and the IT industry by seeking relevant industry and technical knowledge.
• Leverage cloud solutions and DevOps practices, including testing automation, to improve software delivery.
• Work with security teams to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the development process.
• Contribute to process improvements and assist in analyzing, reproducing, and resolving production issues.
• Ensure compliance with external legislation, bank standards, and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position.
• Collaborate effectively within the team and recognize the contributions of peers to achieve team goals.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience in creating large-scale, mission-critical, and high-availability web applications using the WebSphere platform.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, primarily Python, with familiarity in Bash, Ruby, and Go is a plus.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and incident management systems.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Experience managing AWS services such as VPC, EC2, Route 53, CloudFront, RDS, and ECS.
• Proficiency with Jenkins CI/CD, Git, and other Continuous Integration tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows systems, networking, and cloud security.
• Experience delivering at least one major PaaS/SaaS service platform (e.g., Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Strong experience in automation using Java and various automation tools.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes.
• Good knowledge of SQL and scripting, with the ability to work independently.
