DevOps Engineer Job in Bengaluru at Decathlon

Decathlon is hiring for the role of DevOps Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Operate, Administrate, and Support AWS & GCP Accounts.
• Manage and operate the infrastructure and configuration of applications with a focus on automation and Infrastructure as code.
• Support & troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments and creating documentation for the same.
• Deploy, Automate, Support, Troubleshoot and Maintain services/applications
• Evaluate performance trends and expected changes in demand and capacity, and establish the appropriate scalability plans
• Develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems.
• Manage and run application servers, web servers, databases, batch jobs, file transfers, and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to implement operational solutions while defining, and adhering to industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven development and/or DevOps experience deploying and maintaining multi-tiered infrastructure and applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in Windows/Linux and Cloud native environment.
• Hands-on experience in scripting and programming languages: Shell, Python etc.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git, SVN
• Understanding of branching strategies, merging, rebasing, and resolving conflicts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Github, actions CI/CD
• Understanding of declarative configuration and automation of infrastructure provisioning.
