Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a DevOps Developer, you will play a critical role in streamlining our software development and deployment processes, enabling faster and more efficient delivery of high-quality software products. Your expertise in automation, continuous integration, and infrastructure management will contribute to the success of our projects and enhance our development workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements, application architecture, and deployment needs.
• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Create and manage configuration scripts and tools for infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistency and scalability across development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of the production and staging environments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues and ensure smooth software releases.
• Implement and maintain version control systems, repository management, and artifact repositories.Assist in setting up and managing cloud infrastructure, including server provisioning, load balancing, and auto-scaling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools (Terraform, Jenkins, VSTS, ARM Templates Automation Scripting PowerShell, Azure DevOps), technologies, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance the development process.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and implement necessary measures to safeguard data and systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Document processes, configurations, and system changes to facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, DevOps Developer, or a similar role, with a track record of successful software delivery and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby for automation tasks.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git, and Git workflows.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and SSL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in the DevOps pipeline is a plus.
• Certification in relevant DevOps tools or cloud platforms is desirable but not mandatory.
