Comcast is hiring for the job role of Development Engineer 2!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Handles configuration issues and access to the Salesforce platform and data by users and integrated systems.
• Configure and schedule apex jobs, and modify profiles and Production objects in accordance with the software development departments.
• Create structured queries in SOQL and PlSql, read and understand apex code, and develop own analysis tools to provide quick support to the business.
• Actively participates in meetings convened by the Service Management structures in order to solve highly impacting problems on the CRM services provided in Production.
• Identifies the main root causes in the incident management process by analyzing and proposing software changes to the problem management group or to delivery managers.
• Promoting, distributing, and reviewing Splunk-based controls and dashboards to monitor the Salesforce platform.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders like vendors, development, quality assurance, and security to handle incidents.
• Collects and provides information for managing the Change Management process.
• Manages the backup platform in continuity with respect to software changes, updating the necessary information in order to guarantee correct execution.

Requirements:

• Understanding and operating in a multitasking contest and multi-relationship.
• Good knowledge of Salesforce Apex/Visualforce.
• Understanding of customer impact and priority.
• Strong ability to handle information across other coworkers to quickly resolve issues.
• Understanding of monitoring tools and understanding what they say.
• Good ability in data treatment
• Ability to respect time to market of activity owned.
• Understanding office automation is a plus.

• With weekly shifts, she/he is available on call outside office hours to solve problems deriving from alarms.
