Proctur is hiring for the role of Developer Trainee (EdTech)!

Responsibilities of a Candidate:

• Collaborate with senior developers to assist in the design, development, and implementation of new features and functionalities for our educational platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues reported by users.
• Learn and apply best practices in software development, including coding standards, documentation, and version control.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the Ed Tech industry.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project goals are met promptly.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented concepts.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, etc.).
• Basic understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Prior experience or coursework in educational technology or related fields is a plus, but not required.
