Developer - Operations Data Products Job in Gurgaon at United Airlines

United Airlines is hiring for the role of Developer - Operations Data Products!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop/maintain tables to support data ingestion and transformation process, while ensuring data quality and availability to support operations.
• Build data products including dashboards and mobile reporting products to support Ops leadership on day-to-day functions that help them make data-driven decisions and answer key questions from the team.
• Help with the development and implementation of automation workflows across multiple functional areas including Turns and Air Ops performance.
• Build and maintain the "single source of truth" for United's Ops data and ensure data integrity through a robust governance process.
• Track and provide status reporting of work assignments, projects, and programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or another quantitative field (i.e. mathematics, statistics, economics, etc.)
• At least 2 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, and/or data engineering.
• Strong experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
• Experience with BI dashboarding tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tibco Spotfire, etc.) to produce meaningful, elegant dashboards.
• Proficiency in writing code using both traditional and modern technologies/languages (i.e. Python, Spark Node, etc.) for queries, procedures, and final formatted reporting in an email format.
• Ability to study/understand business needs, and then develop solutions that connect business processes with quantifiable outcomes.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship.
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Successful completion of the interview is required to meet job qualifications.
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
