Canam is hiring for the role of Designer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design individual connections and welds per requirements of the latest CISC or AISC (ASD or LRFD) specifications.
• Design connections through the use of internal/external spreadsheets.
• Design connections for greater economy.
• Incorporate and compile any possible adjustments or changes made necessary by revised documents.
• Review and depict special loading conditions for connections design.
• Draw clear connections sketches.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers and supervisors.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• BE/B.Tech (Civil) with related experience and training.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, governmental regulations, drawings and job specifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering office in English.
• Good attitude and always willing to improve and take more responsibilities.
• Ability to prioritize his own work.
