Atlas Copco is hiring for the role of Design/Project Engineer: Smart Manufacturing Solutions(Industrial Engineering)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Process Engineering
  • Component Mapping & classification and Process flow diagram.
  • Sequence of Assembly Process, Preparation of digital (animated) product assembly sequence
  • Process optimization and Line Balancing
  • Station design, cycle time calculation
• Equipment Planning
  • Identify various equipment to perform the required assembly operations
  • Develop equipment concepts from basic product & production requirements.
• In-plant Logistics
  • Define Stores capacity
  • Planning of material supply method and design of Material Handling Process.
  • Define line side logistic
• Layout Configuration
  • Prepare 3d/2d GA drawing for layout.
  • Prepare drawings giving details of placements of all the equipment and parts.     
  • Prepare detailed layout, which includes assembly line, line side logistics, human position at station, and Equipment position.
• Time study analysis
  • MOST Analysis:  Detailed Activity Mapping of all the operations in scope, Mapping human activity, Analysis of human ergonomics, Discrete event simulation
  • AVIX Time study analysis
  • VA and NVA activity mapping and analysis

Requirements:

• Education:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience
• Knowledge:
  • Experience in Methods engineering.
  • Shop floor experience.
  • Experience in virtual production line development projects.
  • Experience in 3D modeling CAD systems.
  • Knowledge of MOST standard
• Software Skills:
  • Team Centre
  • Inventor
  • Factory cad
  • AutoCAD 2017
  • MS-Office - 2016
  • Autodesk Vault, smarteam, or Enovia will be an added advantage.
• Personality requirements:
  • Very good at interaction and interpersonal skills
  • Smart working and prepared to work with challenging tasks and achieve the same within the given time frame.
  • Effective communication in English.
