Cactus is hiring for the role of Design Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Drive design vision by understanding client briefs, outlining design requirements, and collaborating with the design team for project execution.
• Conceptualize audio-visual outputs and provide innovative design solutions aligned with client brand guidelines.
• Create brand identity elements such as logos, guidelines, webpage layouts, and more to enhance brand image.
• Craft various multimedia collateral designs when necessary.
• Stay updated on design trends in relevant industries and platforms.
• Enhance design approaches and workflows to align with client business goals.
• Collaborate with various team members to manage projects from client brief to delivery.
• Provide necessary information to downstream and upstream stakeholders according to established processes.
• Address client complaints by identifying root causes and implementing necessary improvements.
• Ensure error-free deliverables that meet client quality standards.
• Complete all deliverables within specified timelines.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in website design, infographics, print design, brand design, product design, and video/scientific visualization.
• Degree in designing, fine arts, or visual communication, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with working knowledge of Figma, 3D graphics, animation, print assets, and AI-based designing tools.
• Skilled in researching, comprehending, and engaging with content spanning multiple design formats within STEM and HSS domains.
• Preferred experience with Indian clients, including government bodies, academic societies, universities, labs, and brands.
