ZF is hiring for the role of Design Engineer - Wiring Harness!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Develop wiring harness designs, including connectors, junction boxes, receptacles, wedge locks, cables, pins, and more for electrical modules.
- Create 2D and 3D drawings of wiring harnesses, adhering to GD&T standards.
- Ensure the quality of engineering drawings through thorough checks.
- Generate schematics based on customer-specific or system requirements.
- Collaborate with customers on harness development activities and internal cross-functional teams (CFT) as well as Testing and Validation teams
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 2 to 5 Years of experience.
- Strong understanding of power distribution and circuit diagrams.
- Proficiency in wiring harness manufacturing processes, considered a valuable asset.
- Familiarity with benchmarking activities for wiring harness design and development, as well as value engineering and value analysis.
- Knowledge of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
