Busch Vacuum India Private Limited is hiring for the role of Design Engineer (Mechanical)!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Create quotations and project P&IDs, based on the input of the Project Engineers.
- Prepare 3D models of vacuum and overpressure systems.
- Generate General Assembly drawings based on the 3D models.
- Prepare fabrication drawings as per the ISO, ASME & API Standards for pressure vessels, piping, valves, and heat exchangers.
- Make BOMs from CAD designs and select materials using ERP software.
- Visit the shop floor and resolve technical queries during production to facilitate design support as needed.
- Inform the project team timely and correctly to facilitate the timely execution of the project.
- Ensure high-quality mechanical designs that meet process requirements and are efficient to manufacture.
- Improve CAD library tools and engineering processes to support our growing systems business.
- Submit drawings to the customer and prepare CRS for customer approval.
- Coordinate with the process and instrumentation team to smoothly execute the project.
- Ensure profitable project execution along with the project team (sales, production, process, design, and instrumentation).
- 3D CAD mechanical design software (Solid Works, Solid Edge, NX, and Inventor)
- Knowledge of Fabrication, skid structure, weldment, Pressure piping, and rotating equipment
- Knowledge of various types of valves, instrumentation, and skid components
- Working knowledge of international standards & codes would be an added advantage (ANSI, ASME, etc.)
- Good knowledge of geometric dimensions & tolerances
- Knowledge of the selection of materials for construction for different types of processes is preferred
- Must have excellent English written & verbal communication skills
- Team player
- Able to manage stringent timelines and align priorities
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and keep work organized
- A quick learner improvises skills through continuous learning
- Should be flexible to work in odd hours, i.e as per country-specific time zones
