Design Engineer II Job in Navi Mumbai at Weatherford

• Perform engineering tasks using established procedures; these include, but are not limited to, stress analysis, material selection, cost estimation, and tolerance studies.
• Apply technical skills efficiently to assigned projects. Continuously gain knowledge on domain skills and stay updated with new and relevant technology.
• Perform assigned tasks with excellent quality by following defined processes for the group.
• Provide status/progress reports regularly and plan well for timely deliverables.
• Work with optimal productivity, completing projects and tasks within the assigned timeframe. Execute projects efficiently, on time, and with high quality. Work hard and smartly to complete projects.
• Perform engineering layouts for fit, form, and function checking.
• Create drafts in Creo or AutoCAD based on marked-up prints. Coordinate with CAD Drafters for the creation of drawings.
• Work as a team player and remain flexible to assigned work.
• Perform various other duties as required by the CAD Analyst, Team Lead, and Project Lead within the physical constraints of this job.
• Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-5+ years of CAD Engineering, design & field experience
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Masters in CAD
• Manufacturing experience
• Creo and Windchill experience
• Oil & Gas industry experience
• Know and understand Weatherford’s Enterprise Excellence Program and the Quality Policy, and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions
