Design Engineer Associate (Pune) Job in Pune at Regal Rexnord Corporation

Regal Rexnord is hiring for the role of Design Engineer Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

•  Provide support to execute standard and ETO/DTO inquiries, quotes, orders.
• Assist in creating/modifying existing 2D/3D layouts, assemblies as per customer requirements.
• Work on ECRs/ECNs, create complete and accurate drawing packages within assigned time 
• Provides support to design or improves basic components and products with a basic understanding of design tools and methods. 
• Optimizes basic components and products with a basic understanding of analysis methods. 
• Assists in solving basic problems with an aptitude for basic problem solving skills. 
• May assist in developing basic test plans from existing test protocol for basic products or components. 
• Support in creating design documents, installation instructions, customer data sheets etc. 
• Communicate effectively and professionally with cross functional teams and customers. 
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in mechanical/production engineering from a reputed college with good academic record. 
• Experience: 06 months to 1 year of experience in designing any industrial products like Bearing, Couplings, gearboxes, pumps, Material handling equipment or machine tools. 
• Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications. 
• Proficient in 3D Modelling and 2D drafting with any of below CAD tool/tools o SolidEdge, SolidWorks 
• Knowledge of GD&T, drafting standards. 
• Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and with sense of urgency.
