Regal Rexnord is hiring for the role of Design Engineer Associate!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Assist in creating and modifying 2D/3D drawings and models in SolidWorks.
• Handle ECRs/ECNs and deliver accurate drawing packages within the assigned time.
• Support design improvements for basic components and products with relevant tools and methods.
• Optimize basic products using analytical methods.
• Assist in solving problems with fundamental problem-solving skills.
• Prepare design documents, installation instructions, customer data sheets, and outline drawings.
• Communicate professionally with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Study product catalogues and provide details to the IT team for PIM (Product Information Management).
• Develop CAD files for customers and execute orders using DDM & Oracle software.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed college with a strong academic record.
• Up to 2 years of experience designing industrial products such as bearings, couplings, gearboxes, pumps, material handling equipment, or machine tools.
• Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in 2D drafting with AutoCAD/Draftsight and 3D modeling with SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and drafting standards.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with urgency.
• Competence in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good verbal and written communication skills, along with presentation skills.
• SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
