ABB is hiring for the role of Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Designing engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contractual specifications.
• Participating in project meetings and presenting specific aspects of design assignments.
• Using standard processes and tools, assisting in developing new processes and tools for the reuse of technical solutions.
• Supporting technical risk assessments and implementing resulting actions for one’s projects.
• Coordinating with manufacturing and testing functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured or staged and tested.
• Coordinating with commissioning or servicing functions to ensure the designs are appropriately installed and commissioned (if applicable as part of the contract).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in technology
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skill
