ARTPARK, IISc Bangalore is hiring for the role of Design Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Study of existing solutions from the published literature.
- Conceptual design of an anastomotic device for the given specifications.
- Detailed design and optimization of the device using the principle of compliant mechanisms.
- Multibody dynamic analysis and finite element analysis of the components and the entire device.
- Prototyping of the device.
- Testing, redesign, and validation
Requirements:
- MTech or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics with specialization in mechanism design
- Prior experience in the design of medical devices
- Proficiency in CAD, FEA, and optimization
- Good communication abilities and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
